Only this time, the fight isn’t for himself; it’s for his family
Plot
When a sinister threat from his childhood haunts him again, the father desperately fights his deepest inner fear. This is the first PG-13 horror film to feature Lionsgate Red Gears; the logo from The Haunted (2012).
Some might call what happens a dance scare (and that’s not entirely wrong), but there’s more to it than that
Take it bag man – that’s another catchy title I could have used – perhaps even more fitting for my unspoken tagline! But despite that, the horror film may have its fair share of weaknesses (I’ll list some of them), but it also has some really good sound design!
they’re pretty big!
The acting is good, maybe even decent. The story and the flaws, or rather, the logic…
but don’t try to question the characters’ motives and/or actions
On the other hand, there is a bit of a twist at the end of the movie – it could have pulled off a lot more unimaginable things… and you could have thought even less about certain scenes leading up to it…
That said, it’s a horror movie, so the characters will do things you don’t agree with
eventually we have to move on (whether we like it or not – and yes, that’s an intentional pun)
