I don’t know what you guys expected
Plot
A film adaptation of James Patterson’s novel series about the complex and brilliant detective Alex Cross. In episode 2, Cross tells Sampson that he smells like “knives and old spice.” In real life, Isaiah Mustafa was featured in the great Old Spice commercials as “the man your husband could smell like.” I really don’t understand the low ratings and very harsh words about the series. It makes me wonder if there is another intention behind those ratings. The show is very well shot, with great cinematography, direction, music & stylistic choices based on D.
Alex Cross’s character depth is immediately shown, as well as his flows, like any other person
C. . He tries to get over the death of his wife while dealing with grief, a serial killer case, and someone haunting his family. The supporting cast also does a great job and I love how we can watch 2 stories at once.
No, but it’s mostly done well
There are moments where you don’t know where the story is going and the twists and turns are unexpected. Is this something that hasn’t been done before? Now there are a few plot holes where you have a little doubt about things, but they’re not big enough to keep you from watching the show. The acting is great and Aldis steals the show.
that’s been done over and over again
If I have to recommend one thing and the producers read this, it’s to focus more on his forensic psychology background next season. We’re not just talking about a detective who took profiling classes, we’re talking about a guy with a PhD in psychology, a PhD in forensic psychology. Don’t reduce this to a cute “I know how killers think” thing. Perform psychological assessments, diagnose, advocate for victims or prisoners, you know the things forensic psychologists do..
