Britain rarely allows filming inside the Foreign Secretary’s office
Plot
In the midst of an international crisis, career diplomat Kate Wyler lands an unlikely high-profile job with geographic implications for her marriage and political future. The British government allowed real-life locations to be used as filming locations for the series, including the most recent American embassy (in Nine Elms), which opened in 2018.

One location that was not available was Winfield House, the royal residence of the American ambassador. Although it is accurately described as occupying the largest residential plot of land in London (11 acres) other than Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming.
It has everything you want in a series
it has comedy, drama, great acting and writing, etc. The series is about a diplomat (Keri Russell) who lands a new job as ambassador to the United Kingdom.
It takes place when an aircraft carrier is attacked following an international crisis
She already has a deal with her husband (Rufus Sewell), a political star. I loved this show so much that I binged all eight episodes in one weekend.
I’m definitely looking forward to watching and seeing where this show goes
It’s doing so well and has been so well received that it’s already gotten an early renewal for another season.
