When asked how Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a "Harrison Ford type" And the likes of Ford were to participate in the selection. Segal told Goldstein that he should at least pitch it to Ford, thinking he would immediately decline, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had pitched the project, generating interest from other notable actors.

At first, I was already going to see it as soon as I saw that it stars Harrison Ford and Jason Segal, but then after reading all the positive reviews and watching the trailer, my excitement grew even more. I wouldn’t say it’s the best show of the year, but it’s an original, good comedy that will have you laughing every episode.
