Art the Clown prepares to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they sleep peacefully on Christmas Eve
Director Damien Leone said that several major studios were interested in financing the film based on the unexpected success of Terrifier 2 (2022), even without a full script, but that he turned them all down because he was sure they would never let him do the opening scene alone, which ” very controversial”. Leone commented that the only reason he can be so uncompromising in his portrayal of horror and gore is because he finances his films independently, creates all the special effects himself to keep costs down, and doesn’t have a major studio breathing down his neck that a film is more mainstream.. Mia mentions that the 5 year anniversary of the original massacre is coming up, but it happened on Halloween and this movie taking place 5 years later at Christmas would mean that the anniversary was just 2 months ago..

I just finished watching this Oscar-worthy movie, just kidding, but seriously, folks… I really just finished watching this movie, and as far as gore goes, it definitely tripled . I wasted no time in the first 10 minutes running errands and by the time the shower arrived my aunt was out of her seat and I didn’t see her until I got to the car.
If you don’t like slasher/gore movies, stay home
If movies like this float your boat, then check your brain at the door and enjoy the bodily secretions that pour, drip, flow and splash during this 2-hour slashfest.
